The Alexandrovsky Garden
lies along the southern and western facades of the Russian Admiralty.
It extends from Palace Square to St. Isaac's Cathedral.

The Garden was opened in 1874 and named in honour of
Alexander II.
The garden was designed by
Luigi Rusca in 1805.
In 1876 a fountain was built in the Garden. At the time of the construction this fountain
was the biggest in the city.
