THE AMERICAN LEGION’S 100TH NATIONAL CONVENTION
TOUR OPPORTUNITIES BY EXPERIENCE THE TWIN CITIES
Experience the Twin Cities is honored to have been selected to provide tour experiences during
the 100th National Convention of The American Legion.
As a woman-owned business operating in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area since
2011, Experience the Twin Cities has enjoyed celebrating the food, brews, cocktails, wines,
history, sights, and sounds here for the last 7 years with both visitors and residents alike and
also sharing our passion for everything that makes this area such an incredible destination. Our
owner was even recently featured on the local NBC affiliate’s Saturday morning show – check it
out yourself here! In addition, our staff of professionally trained tour guides is eager to share
their individual passions with you as they lead you through the variety of tour experiences we
have prepared.
Some things to note as you consider which tour experiences you’ll be participating in:

TOUR OPERATIONS
Tours operate rain or shine.
All vehicles provided for bus tours will be air-conditioned, clean, sanitary and in proper working condition. Certain tours may utilize Experience the Twin Cities’ Open Air Bus, but only if temperatures are forecast to be lower than 90 degrees.
All our vehicles will receive a pre-trip inspection by our tour guides to assure cleanliness and safety
Should a tour fail to meet its required minimum, Experience the Twin Cities will cancel the tour, notify all registrants via email, attempt to accommodate them on another tour, or if not possible, refund their payments.
All tour participants will be required to sign the required waiver(s). An individual’s failure to sign their waiver will prohibit that individual’s participation in the tour.
All tours will leave from and return to the Minneapolis Convention Center Fun and knowledgeable tour guides will assist you in enjoying these various tour
experiences.
Experienced venue guides (where appropriate) will assist in providing you in-depth insights into their venues.
Professional drivers for bus tours will make sure you get where you need to get safely and efficiently
Complimentary bottled waters, snacks and a cooler for growlers or other beverages - no glass or hard liquor, though! - will be available on board for brewery tours
All expenses, fees and gratuities included for restaurant, brewery and venue staff, as appropriate. Gratuities for drivers and guides are NOT included, so please be sure to tip them as you see fit.
Experience the Twin Cities will request specific information from registrants regarding dietary restrictions and other special accommodations needed. In order to be accommodated to the best of our and our partner venue’s abilities, you will need to make any special needs known at the time of booking. Special requests received onsite may not be able to be accommodated.
OUR SPECIAL COMMITMENT
As a sign of our appreciation both for the service provided by members of The American Legion throughout their lives as well as for this opportunity to serve those members through our offering of these tour experiences, Experience the Twin Cities will donate $1.00 (“100 cents” for your 100th National Convention!) per ticket sold to The American Legion to use as it sees fit to support your organization’s overall mission.
Please consider this small gesture our way of saying “Thank you for your service” and for selecting us to provide these tour services to your members during your 100th National Convention. In addition, some of our tour experience partners will also be making similar donations, as well – check out the Craft Brew Hop Brewery Tour for details, for example!
