What is ASPR?

• ASPR is a growing professional organization comprised of more than 1,000 in-house physician recruitment professionals from across the US and Canada.

• Our members recruit physicians and other healthcare providers to staff the hospitals, clinics, and managed care organizations where they are employed. Aiming to find physicians the best jobs for their professional goals, families, and lifestyles.

Who is Eligible for Membership?

• Individuals who are engaged in the recruitment of physicians and other healthcare providers and who are employed to do so by a hospital, clinic, or state/federal governmental agency.

• Independent contractors and self-employed recruiters who are contracted directly and/or exclusively recruiting for a single facility that employs physicians.

Who is Eligible for Membership?

• Employees from third-party search firms or who are affiliated with a third-party search firm are not eligible for membership.

and educational resource dedicated solely to in-house physician recruitment professionals.

• ASPR continues to be the premier educational resource for in-house physician recruitment professionals and is dedicated to their professional development.

ASPR Fellowship Program:

• Consists of three training tracks (Associate/101, Diplomate/201, and Fellow/301) and subsequent exams leading to the designation of Fellow of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (FASPR).

• Becoming a FASPR demonstrates ones knowledge of many varied disciplines including recruitment, retention, medical practice management, human resources, law, marketing, and business.
