MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD CHURCH SENIOR CITIZEN'S CLUB: Wednesday, September 5th, is our next senior lunch-eon, weather permi ng. As of this wri ng, if the luncheon stays on schedule we will be going to Joey's Paesano Res-taurant. As always, the lunch will follow immediately a er the 12:10PM Mass. FREE SENIOR CITIZEN'S LEGAL ASSISTANCE will be provided to seniors in need of advice, guidance, etc. A er the San Gennaro feast, an a orney with exper se in elder care law will be availa-ble for consulta on, FREE of charge, on Tuesdays inside Caffe Palermo. God help them all, and God bless America. SPECIAL MASS: There will be a Mass at 11:00AM on Saturday, Septem-ber 15, 2018 in honor of St. Hugh of Cluny, sponsored by the society of the same name. The St. Hugh of Cluny Society held their Mass at MPB last year, too, and we are honored they chose to celebrate here again. SAN GENNARO FEAST ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE will take place on Sunday, September 23rd, in honor of the miracle of the liquefac on of San Gen-naro's blood from 2000-year-old powder to a bubbling liquid. The blood drive is run by the Red Cross, and appointments can be made on-line at www.redcrossblood.org. Hours are from 11:30AM - 6:00PM at the youth center of the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral, 268 Mulberry Street between Prince and Houston Streets. Ques ons or addi onal infor-ma on about the blood drive can be directed to Bill Russo, blood drive coordinator, at 347-933-3337. Refreshments will be offered to all who donate blood.
