The Benefits of Yoga Presented by Roslyn Shemer Date: Tues., July 22 Time: 1:15-2:00PM Cost: FREE Where: KAX Stage (Van Buren, between 2 nd and 3 rd Sts.) Find your zen and learn about the many benefits of yoga. The regular practice of yoga will help you increase flexibility, muscle strength and tone, which is so important throughout our lives. It also helps with balance, metabolism, relieves chronic stress, centers attention and sharpens self-awareness. Anyone of any age, size or fitness level can participate. All poses can be modified. Roz has been teaching yoga since 2009 when she attended the yoga teacher training program at At One Yoga in Scottsdale. While she mostly teaches flow and power yoga, Roz also spent years teaching Yoga for Rehabilitation and Prenatal Yoga. She is currently a Yoga Ambassador at lululemon athletica Biltmore and is teaching at Fit Republic in Scottsdale.
