Day 4 Sorrento Full day at leisure or take an optional tour to Capri.Weather permitting, a morning jetfoil whisks you across the blueBay of Naples to the fabled Isle of Capri. Upon arrival we will driveto Anacapri where you will have free time for shopping beforeheading to Capri. You will ascend to the Piazzetta and visit the FloralGardens of Caesar Augustus. The town center is whereextravagance is the non-noticed norm. The magic of the island iseverywhere. Walk by spotless narrow streets. Gaze at boutiquedisplays. Sit at an open air cafe for lunch on your own, beforereturning to the pier by funicular and boarding the jetfoil back tothe mainland. (B)Day 5 Sorrento - Tour of Amalfi Coast This morning, leaveSorrento for a full day of sightseeing on the Amalfi Coast. Stop atthe Sorrento Belvedere to enjoy a unique view of Moorisharchitecture blended with pastel colored houses and to takepictures of this unforgettable site. Then continue to Amalfi for awalking tour of the old village, lined with shops, café bars andspectacular views. Then reach Ravello a dramatic hillside town,famous for its Villa Rufolo, which was originally used as awatchtower when it was built in 1200 AD. Here enjoy some freetime for lunch on your own at a restaurant. Then onwards toPositano one of the most beautiful valleys of the Amalfi peninsula.At the center of town you can see the brightly colored “maiolica”dome of Santa Maria Assunta, the main church of Positano. Enjoytime for a stroll around the center of town before returning toSorrento. (B)Day 6 Sorrento – Pompeii Tour Today you will leave Sorrento forPompeii. No visit to southern Italy would be complete without a visitto the unique ruins of Pompeii.
