• Facebook Messenger- Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging service and software application which provides text and voice communication. It could be used educationally if teacher start a group chat and have a conversation with the students about the work/project on the computer. Then students can enter their thoughts for the teacher and the other students to see which might be helpful to look back on later on.

Communication (cont.)

• Kik Messenger- Kik Messenger is an instant messaging application for mobile devices. The app is available on most iOS, Android, and Windows Phone operating systems free of charge. It can be used educational so that the teacher can talk to each student individually or in a group about certain work or projects. This would be a great mobile app to use for education because the students would get the teachers message right then and there on their mobile device and the teacher would get one right back without any reason for delay.

Video Sharing

• YouTube- YouTube is a video-sharing website and has been owned by Google since late 2006. YouTube can be used educationally by having students watch educational videos on what ever subject. Many teachers already do this. Also teachers could make students make a video and post it for some type of educational purpose.

Video Sharing (cont.)

• Viddy- Viddy says turn your everyday moments into perfect little movies. Viddy provides wide range of video effects which you can apply to your videos and make them more beautiful. You can share these videos on any social media. This could be used educationally by having a teacher show how something is done in a video and presenting it to the students. Or even have other students make videos and have them present their ideas or information on the subject to the rest of the class via social media.

Video Sharing (cont. 2)

• Burst- Burst puts a twist on videos, as it prompts you to create groups from your contacts list for private sharing. This is a great advancement, as you can securely share video clips with the people who would be most interested. For education purposes the teacher could share videos specifically to as many students as he wants and they can see the video right then and there without having to worry about anything being accidently shared with others.
