DEDICATION

W e the members of the class of 1968 fervently dedicate this edition of THE BLAZE to Mr. G ilbert L. Botelle who has not only been an excellent teacher but also an intim ate friend.

Offering to us his free hours, Mr. Botelle has constantly been available for the individual tutoring of those of us who have found math difficult. Exemplifying the characteristics of industry and enthusiasm, he has inspired us to greater achievement.

W e cherish the numerous occasions when we were able to have someone to go to w ith our problems; Mr. Botelle has been a close friend to all of us, and for his understanding and guidance we are appreciative.

MOUNTAIN DAY

Cardigan’s annual mountain day started with a scream by the school leader in the dining room. The busses came for the third time due to two previous cancellations. The hard climb went to Moosilauke M ountain and the majority of boys went to Kearsarge Mountain for the easy climb. Both had near perfect weather conditions which made the day a complete success.
