CORPORATION COMMUNITY

CAUSE

The experience of the first Christians recorded in Acts 1 illustrates Three Essentials that we need to understand and embrace if we are going to live on mission where we live, work play.

Acts 1: The Essentials

• Which ONE is most important?

• How can we ensure that NONE are neglected?

• How are they interrelated?

Acts 2: The Power

Jesus Christ empowers His People to fulfill His Mission through the presence of His Spirit.

Overview

Acts 2:1-13 The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

Acts 2:14- 41 Peter Addresses the Crowd

Acts 2:42-47The Fellowship of the Believers

Acts 2:1-13 The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Who is the Holy Spirit?Overview

2. The Trinity: We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons, that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that They execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.

5. The Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
