THE BOSS LED DIODE DISTORTION RACK

Congratulations on choosing our new THE BOSS LED DIODE DISTORTION.

The Boss plugin is based on circuit which uses two stages of gain with led diode clipping and tone controls.The gain comes from a TL072 low-noise operational amplifier (op-amps) chip.This plugin is based on a device which is made for high-fidelity audio preamplifier applications and uses junction field effect transistors (JFETs) to achieve good gain with low noise and low harmonic distortion.

The Boss tone control is highly interactive, adjusting one of the controls will affect the other two.Players got used to it and its ability to create many different voicings.You can adjust the tone to suit pretty much any amplifier.The expanded Gain structure allows you to steer your tone through many different styles. From natural sounding vintage valve amp break-up, ideal for singing blues, to chunky British classic rock tones, right through to modern day super-saturation, for liquid sustain and grinding chords.

Thanks to the onboard Mid/Side matrix and the SPREAD parameter, it is possible to achieve a n infinite sound palet-te and enhance the stereo image.

DELAY SECTION

1 - GAIN: This controls the intensity of the drive and will provide a stunning range of overdrive selections.Lower settings will give a simple volume boost, while advanced settings will provide screaming solo sounds.2 - BASS: Three-band EQ network which combines to give the fullest selection of guitar tones.Bass controls the lower frequencies giving a range from thudding, heavy rhythm, to tight and punchy solo response.3 - MIDDLE: This control provides the key to an unbelievable range of distortion tones.When backed off, the sound is smooth and fat for more lyrical blues/rock playing styles. Increasing the contour chan-ges the character of the mid response and enhances the treble and bass frequencies.4 - TREBLE: High-end response control, which tailors the attack and enhances the harmonic content. All three EQ controls are truly interactive, letting the player dial in anything from hard-driving, modern British distortion, to the swe-et, syrupy sustain of classic Vintage models.

5 - Wet/Dry: Blend from wet to dry signal.

1 - Spread: Introduce a slight delay(max 50mS) in the left channel before of the Mid/Side decoder, usefull for spreading the stereo image.

2 - Analog Link: With this feature it is possible to link two sections in an “analog” way. This means that the sections will not have the same value, but almost the same with a tolerance of 10% On/Off Switch - Engage the Analog Link mode. Generate - Randomly create the tollerance for each link, every plugin instance will be different.

3 - Link: master link/unlink.

4 - U-Bass: enhances the low frequency around 50 Hz.

1 - Input: Adjust the plugin input level.

2 - Output: Adjust the plugin output level.

3 - Mid/Side: Engage the mid/side matrix.

4 - Phase: Invert the phase of the wet signal for both sections.

1 - Open the manual and show the informations about the plugin.

2 - + and - buttons allow you to scroll through the presets.

3 - Undo/Redo changes made to the parameters of the plugin at any time.

4 - With A/B banks, it is possible to compare two different settings in an easy way. It is also possible to compare pre-sets by loading them in the two different A/B banks.The red highlight will show the currently selected bank and what you will modify/save.

5 - Copy the settings from a bank to another, so you can make slight changes to the controls and compare the two settings for example.

1 - Shows the active preset. Click on the label to see the preset list. 2 - Allow you to override the current selected preset.

3 - Save the current selected preset as a new preset with a name of your choice.

4 - Delete the selected preset. 5 - Bypass the plugin in order to compare your processed and unprocessed signal.
