I enjoyed using raspberriesand turmeric to dye material like the Anglo Saxons

Yehia Ashour I enjoyed the Anglo Saxon cooking because it made us learn about Anglo Saxons and their food.

I especially enjoyed cooking the Anglo Saxon cakes with the children. They didn't believe that we would actually be cooking in the classroom and eating what we had made together. They were so sensible and co-operative in this activity and some took the recipe to try it at home.

Some of my favourite moments this year would have to be every time we �nished a good book especially when we �nished "Butter�y Lion" by Michael Morpurgo. Students were very surprised by the unpredictable ending and were sad it ended but they were very excited to �nd out what book we were going to read next.
