Students begin to develop their High School and Beyond plan in the 8th grade by drafting a Four Year Plan (4YP) for course selection.

Students monitor academic progress with guidance from counselors/teachers/parents and reevaluate/revise their High School and Beyond Planning Sheet to meet high school graduation and post-secondary requirements.

Students identify a desired career path (from LA career exploration project) and the educational and/or training options required for that career path.

(e.g. 2-4 year college, vocational or technical training, certificate program, apprenticeship, internship, military service or the workforce)
