This time of year, many of us start to get a little run as the holiday buzz wears

down, the cold weather starts to irritate and you realize that you’ve already

broken a couple New Year’s resolutions. Not to worry, though, as Love will

be all around in the Village during February! We

want to make sure you have everything you

need to feel the love as you celebrate Valen-

tine’s Day this year but, also, we want to make

sure that we help you feel the Love all month

long with a few other special things going on.

For Valentine’s Day, we have a little something

for everyone around the Village. At the Honey

Creek Inn Kurly “the Kupid” will be your special

maître d' for dinner service on Valentine’s Day

dinner service. The tables will be covered with

white linen and each couple will receive a rose.

We will feature a special 3-course meal that will

not disappoint and the best part is there are no

reservations needed (or taken).

If going out is not your thing on Valentine’s Day, we have you covered, as

well. The Grist Mill Butcher Shop will have specials on filet mignon, heart-

shaped Delmonico steaks, shrimp and crab legs to name a few things. Phil

and Rey will have all of your ‘adult’ beverage needs at the Bottleshop. Let

them know what you’re looking for and they will recommend something for

the special occasion. Last but not least, our bakers, Kristie and Anna, will

have plenty of sweets and desserts to choose from

including chocolate covered strawberries!

During the rest of the month of February, we will do

our best to spread the love, too. Here are a few

things that will be happening. Food offerings from

the Grist Mill including everything from comfort foods

from the deli like shepherds pie and home-made pot

pies to our February Meat Bundle and a crock pot

roast meal. The Honey Creek will be showing love with a special Burger & a

Beer Special on Sundays and Mondays, as well as, continuing Winter Wine

Wednesdays in February. Last but not least, we will be planning an Ice Rink

Celebration for kids on Saturday, Feb. 17 (see the ad to the right).

least that is what we are telling ourselves here in the

village). In February, at least, there are a few distrac-

tions that will help make this short month seem even

shorter. For starters, we will be offering some great
