My Mission in Liberia I work in two collaborative parishes, Immaculate Con-ception of Sanniquellie and St Augustine of Karnplay. Both parishes are very remote rural parishes. I have two masses every Sunday; after the first mass at
Immaculate Conception, I drive one hour on a very remote road to get to the other parish for the second mass. This is to respond to our vocation as mis-sionaries which is to take the good news to the most abandoned by giving them hope and a bit of joy. Those missions only survived till today because of the support we are receiving from our various benefactors, families and friends; and you are counted among our benefactors. With your support and donations, we are able to build churches, Catholic clinics and schools. Today, our vision is to make Christ more present in the life of the poor people, to be able to spon-sor kids who cannot afford to go to school and also help them to get three meals a day. Through your prayers and con-tinuous support, we will always find joy and fulfilment in serving the less privileged.

Position Available There is a job opening at the Canton Catholic Community for a “Community Secretary”. The Community Secretary assists and provides support services to the Pastor, Parochial Vicar(s) and Deacon, including basic office functions, scheduling appointments, filing, answering the phones, greeting and directing visitors, ordering office supplies, and maintaining websites and social media accounts. This person is the primary interface with the public and parishioners to ensure all who come in contact with our parish have a positive experience and thus grow closer to the Church. This job is a salaried, non-exempt position Monday through Thursday. A medical, dental and retirement benefit package is available with this position.
