Current Status (1/2)
• The ALOS (DAICHI) data distribution has started October last year. It is expected to utilise in the case of the disaster.
• 24 October, JAXA has established the Sentinel Asia Home Page ( http://dmss.tksc.jaxa.jp/sentinel/index.php ) and started uploading the satellite imagery and other r information effective for the disaster
• In addition to that, JAXA has started to accept the ALOS acquisition request from JPT members when the disaster happened.
Current Status(2/2)
• Unfortunately, the number of emergency ALOS data request is very few.
• The reason we assume is as flows① it takes more time to penetrate its operation into our
region② SAS is still premature from the user point of view
• We would like to the training plan for the purpose of establishing SAS in our region so that people in our region may urtilise it effectively when the disaster happened
