THE CAPITAL SOCIETY: CORPORATE & ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP

The National Building Museum advances the quality of the built environment by educating people about its impact on their lives. Chartered by U.S. Congress in 1980 as a private, nonprofit institution, the Museum is dedicated to examining the role of architecture, construction, design, engineering, landscape architecture, and urban planning in our culture.

Become a member of the Capital Society at the National Building Museum and demonstrate your company’s commitment to the built environment. Corporate contributions are critical to the Museum’s ability to present world-renowned exhibitions and acclaimed education programs.

Your investment in the National Building Museum will:

• Lead the public conversation in our nation’s capital about the critical impact architecture, engineering, and design have on society. The Museum serves as a bridge between the complex building industry and the public’s understanding of its role in our daily lives.

• Shape the next generation of building industry professionals. Your membership helps us continue to bring engaging programs and exhibitions to the public, including students, educators, and professionals like you.

• Showcase innovation found in all arts and sciences within

the built environment. Through thought-provoking programs and exhibitions, we engage people in the built environment and how it can impact our future.

With levels ranging from $1,000 to $15,000+, the Capital Society offers valuable benefits for every institution. At the highest level, the Capital Council for the Built Environment serves as a forum for strategic, interdisciplinary leadership. Members convene quarterly to discuss topics related to industry trends and issues.
