•The setting of, The Cask of Amontillado takes place in some sort of European country.•The time is during a celebration called, Carnival, which is a Catholic religion celebrated masquerade style.•Through out the short story another place visited included, a crypt.

Groups Opinion•Jocelin- I enjoyed reading this short story because Monstresor had an amazing thought out plan of killing Fortunato

•Stephanie- I didn’t like the short story because I don’t like death in general

•Zach- I really did not enjoy this short story. It had a good concept, but it was really confusing.

•Becky- I thought that it was gloomy, but it was really interesting the way Monstresor trapped Fortunato.
