The Cat At The Mill HotelAdapted & illustrated by Thomas Allen

This is the tale of the Mill Hotel and its very own cat and how the hotel and the cat cannot leave each other,

otherwise bad things can happen.

This cat is different to most other cats, he is a mummifed cat, which gives him the power to protect the hotel, whilst the hotel protects him.

Meow

During the night, the soul of the cat wonders around the hotel to protect

it from all sorts of bad things...

One day a builder stumbled upon the cat whilst he was knocking through a wall. No one knew why the cat was

there or who put it there.

The builder decided to take the cat away and keep it for safe keeping,

incase the hotel wanted it back.

Since the cat was no longer there to protect the hotel, very bad things began happening almost over night..

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Fires broke out randomly in the hotel, causing a lot of damage to the hotel

and scaring people away.

Water from the local river began to pour in through the windows. This caused damage to a lot of the

rooms.

WOOOSHHH!!

POOF!!

OHH

There was even nasty ghosts and witches that played mean jokes on the people at the hotel. Even turning

them into frogs!

After many bad events someone had the good idea to bring the cat back in, because the events did not happen

until it was removed.

RUUUUUN!!!

Once the cat was returned to the hotel, all the mean ghosts and witches ran out having been scared away for

good.

The End

Once again the cat was there to protect the hotel. Free to wonder and keep it safe from all the disasters

and mean monsters.

The Mill Hotel and its cat are forever a working team keeping each other safe. If one was to leave

the other very bad things will happen until it’s

brought back.
