As is customary for clergy when leaving a parish, we will be collecting gifts from the congregation in gratitude for the service Canon Wallace Marsh has provided to the community. This gift is known in the Anglican tradition as a “purse.” If you would like to contribute to Wallace’s “purse,” please send a check to the Cathedral, made out to Wallace Marsh; they will be delivered to him directly.
Thank you, Canon Wallace Marsh!

Sunday ADULT EDUCATIONFAITHFUL CONVERSATIONS
Sundays this summer, join Canons Cathy Zappa and Lauren Holder as we engage in Faithful Conversations. Each week, we will invite a member of our community to sit down with us and talk with us about faith and society in a real and personal way. Our hope is that the courage our conversation partners bring to our discussions will equip us to go “out into the world to do the work God has given us to do.” Complementing this class will be a series of service opportunities—stay tuned! We will meet at 10:10 a.m. in Child Hall, starting June 3.
WORD TO YOUR MOTHER
Canon Lauren Holder will facilitate a book study every other month intentionally geared toward busy, busy moms. We will cover a range of topics, including parenting, marriage, women’s spirituality, faith at home, and friendship. While this group is specifically designed for moms, it is open to all women. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, July 10 and our first book will be Brene Brown’s Rising Strong: How the Ability to Reset Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent and Lead. Find your copy of Rising Strong in the Cathedral Book Store, or download it on Audible today!
Word to Your Mother will meet on the second Tuesday of every odd month, at 6 p.m. in the Lanier House. Contact Canon Holder, [email protected], for more information.

OUTREACHDONATE FOR HAITI MISSION-PILGRIMAGE
We’re going back to Haiti! This summer, the Cathedral is making its second mission-pilgrimage to Cap-Haitien, Haiti, to continue serving, learning, and building relationships with our partner organization, Eternal Hope in Haiti. As we prepare for our pilgrimage, we hope that you will join us in our journey through offering different forms of support. We always welcome and need your prayers as we prepare and travel. Another way to support us is through donating specific items that we will take with us on our pilgrimage. If you prefer an in-person option, please bring family-sized toiletries, Ensure, and feminine products to the Cathedral and place in the marked bin by the Information Desk. If you prefer an online option, please look at our Amazon Wish List, “Haiti Pilgrimage” listed under “Cathedral of St. Philip.” All of the items donated will be packed in our luggage and given to Eternal Hope in Haiti to distribute at their orphanage and medical clinics. For more information on our pilgrimage or ways to support this ministry, please contact Canon Cathy Zappa or Maggie Paul.
