NOON BALL
We have started to play pick-up basketball games on Wednesday’s from 11—1:00 for those who are able and
interested in coming to play. This is a great way to get some fun exercise in over your lunch break once a
week, as well as, invite those you work with in the community to play with you.
MARCH MADNESS 3-on-3 League
This league will start on Monday, April 1st, in the evening. Hope you have signed up to join us.
THE.ROB.BLOG Men-kind, I relate to
thee… ’cause I are one. (Yes,
wrong word, wrong verb – just
go with it.) “Mankind” lumps
the genders together so I’m
specifying. It’s about MEN
(today). I want to brag on us. So,
how do I do that? Hmm…
We were the first ones…in the creation line.
That’s a good thing ‘til you realize God knew we’d
need help…with asking directions, eating better,
good hygiene, etc. Anyway, we were No 1. That’s
good, right?
And what about the ability to…watch three
football games at once and know what is what in
each one? Pretty cool, eh? The downside may be
that we can’t seem to get the whole “active listener”
thing down when our wives want to have a one-on-
one conversation with us. I don’t understand it. I
just report it.
Those things are good but…what I really
want to brag on you guys about is how God de-
signed you to be “out front.’ He knows that being a
man, a husband, and/or a father is tough stuff. So,
God made you perfectly suited to the task. Really.
He did!
I know that we struggle…with all of the re-
sponsibility we been given (Ephesians 5, 1 Peter 3,
2 Corinthians 16:13). However, the importance to
our culture, our families, and our churches is im-
measurable. It takes a willingness to LEARN how to
do right things and do them with consistency…and I
think I can help us with that part at least.
“RUGGED FAITH” men’s ministry… will be here Saturday,
April 13.
(See front of Challenger)
Men just like us will be
here to offer encourage-
ment, training, inspiration,
and challenges on that
morning. These guys are from all over NWA and
come from varied backgrounds and vocations. They
can speak to where you are and where you want to go.
Will you give just a few hours…that day to
help me and others be better at what we CAN be?
How can you do that? Just by showing up!!! It helps
to know that I’m not alone…that there are others just
like me. (Scary, I know.)
It’s short, fast-paced, and…besides, there’s
food! Yep, it’s designed for us men. This seminar is
one of the fastest growing and best received around. It
may be just what we men need right now.
Plan now to be there…so we can grow together. I
will need some of you to help
host this. So, when you are
asked to do something, your
options are: yes and yes. You
might just man-up and volun-
teer. Puts hair on your chest!
(If it would work for my head
I’d volunteer for
EVERYTHING!)
Your manly pastor,
Rob

ADVENTURE CLUB
is just around the corner
Open Registration has begun!!
Get ready for an outdoor adventure that starts in our own backyard and gets bigger each day as kids
take the love of Jesus into their homes, neighborhoods, and communities.
Our Adventure Club this summer will inspire the kids to serve with life-changing wor-
ship, missions and Bible fun! We will have story time, crafts, music, recreation and refreshments and then we
will be going on some awesome new adventures. Some new ones will include go-karts at
the Pig Trail Kart N Golf in Eureka Springs, a Christian illusionist that will
visit us at FBC and float an Adventure Club camper, as well as, our first
annual Adventure Club talent show. Also back again this summer are
Bumper Boats, Laser tag and Glow in the Dark mini golf at the Branson
Family Fun Factory, movies at the Lyric Theatre, bowling at the Cotton-
wood Bowl, water day, Fun DAZE at FBC with inflatable's and a new KartWheel ride, Senior
Adult-Sing-A-Long, Wacky Time Live and one of our favorites “Senior Adult Luncheon”. Closing out the sum-
mer—the Mad Scientist will be back with a amazing Laser Show for the kids. As you can see, we have a fun-
filled summer planned for our kids!
Adventure Club begins on Tuesday, June 11th and ends Thursday, August 1st.
Call the church office and sign up today for this awesome summer camp
that will challenge our kids to serve as they bless others.
Adventure Club Scholarships needed for Children!
We have several children each year who would like to come to Adventure Club,
but are unable to because they cannot afford to attend.
With your help, these children who are less fortunate will be able to spend the summer with us.
Won’t you help make this possible for a child?
Here’s what it costs… A scholarship for one child to attend all summer - $250.00
You will be blessed for your gift! Thank You!!
For the month of April, the Preschool Ministry will be
collecting Zipper Binders (new) for the Harrison School District clothes closet. There will
be a designated area by the Preschool office where you may leave your donated items.
Thank you for your generosity!

What’s happening in FBCH Student Ministry…?
In March, the student ministry started a Sunday School series called “Identity.” This se-
ries focuses on the message the world constantly tells teenagers about their identity and
compares that with what Scripture says is true. The sessions cover topics such as image,
choices, relationships, and accomplishments. The series uses biblical teaching and real-
life stories to help the students understand that their identity is found in Christ and
shows them how to live boldly as children of God.
Small groups are going great and we are meeting at Ryan and Brittney’s house on Sunday nights from 6-7:30.
This is a great time to experience community and study through the life of Jesus together.
FBC Student Ministry will attend Young Christians Weekend on April 5-7 at Silver Dollar City.
We’ll have great fun and be lifted up and encouraged with great worship and challenging messages.
Disciple Now
is quickly approaching and it will be on April 26-28th
.
The cost for that weekend is $30. Disciple Now is a weekend event here in
Harrison where NABA churches combine efforts to focus on growing our stu-
dents in their walk, serve the community, and have fun worshiping God to-
gether. Please be in prayer for this great weekend.
I am looking for any FBC church members who would be willing to be a HOST HOME for the weekend.
If you are interested, please contact me and I will fill you in with more information. RYAN
Dear FBC FamIly: Thank you so much for the “pounding” on February 10th. We are so grateful for your love and support through the many prayers, groceries, gift
cards, and money you so graciously gave to our family. We love serving and being a part of such a great work here at First Baptist Church.
God Bless, Ryan, Brittney, & Kennady Puls
