Isaiah 45 18For thus saith the LORD that created

not in vainvain(hb. – tohutohu: confusion, waste, wilderness), he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Jeremiah 4

 24I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly (sharply).

5Who determined the measures of the earth, if you know? Or who stretched the measuring line upon it?

7When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8Or who shut up the sea with doors when it broke forth and issued out of the womb?--

10And marked for it My appointed boundary and set bars and doors,

11And said, Thus far shall you come and no farther; and here shall your proud waves be stayed?

 14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

 15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Ezekiel 28 16By the multitude of thy merchandise they

have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

 17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Ezekiel 28

 18Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

 19All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

23Which I have reserved for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war?

24By what way is the light distributed, or the east wind spread over the earth?

25Who has prepared a channel for the torrents of rain, or a path for the thunderbolt,

26To cause it to rain on the uninhabited land [and] on the desert where no man lives,

27To satisfy the waste and desolate ground and to cause the tender grass to spring forth?

28Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?

29Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoary frost of heaven, who has given it birth?

Job 38

3030The waters are congealed The waters are congealed like stone, and the face of like stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.the deep is frozen.

31Can you bind the chains of [the cluster of stars called] Pleiades, or loose the cords of [the constellation] Orion?

Job 38

32Can you lead forth the signs of the zodiac in their season? Or can you guide [the stars of] the Bear with her young?

33Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you establish their rule upon the earth?
