A fifteenth century legend claimed that the city’s Baptistery was built on the foundations of an ancient Roman temple dedicated to Mars, the god of war and ancient protector of the city. Environmental Issues Florence, Italy has many problem with the

envirmental issues the main problems are : Water pollution, urban and industrial pollution, acidification, and deforestation are somes. But the biggest problem is the air pollution if we say that on a scale of 1 to 100, where 1 is the lowest and 100 is the most, air pollution is a 61.82 this means that they have a big problem with this.

If more parks and gardens were built, it would help make the environment and the city itself healthier because the variety of plants can give off fresh air.

Many of the manufacturing buildings should be relocated at a farther distance where the environment is not affected.

Solar-powered houses are also a good option for saving energy.
