Shoichi Sakurai is a Japanese artist who was born in 1962 in Tokyo. He isbest known for his works of "Recycled Art" and widely active in the U.S.,Europe and Japan.
With a strong belief that life, and value, don't have to be measured in"what was", Shoichi Sakurai transforms old, discarded and abandoned"treasures" into highly distinctive and imaginative Illuminated Sculpturesand Wearable Art.
