COLONNADE NEWSLETTER
July 2015
Come one! Come all to the Royal Ball! Beginning Au-gust 21st and running through August 29th, you are invited to The Catoosa Community Playhouse pro-duction of the musical Cin-derella on The Colonnade stage. This timeless classic tells the story of a sweet, innocent girl whose fondest dreams, just a wave of the wand away, are about to come true.
Of course, there are a few obstacles along the way, including the often hilarious, but always wicked, step-mother and stepsisters, a somewhat befuddled King, and a missing glass slipper. Any Fairy Godmother would have her work cut out for her!
Brought to you by the same production team that pre-sented The Little Mermaid Jr., Shrek, and Aladdin, this show is sure to please all audiences. The esti-mated run time for this mu-sical is 2.5 hours.
Performances will be held August 21, 22, 28 & 29 at 7:30pm, with a matinee on August 29 at 1:00pm.
Tickets for these perform-ances are for reserved seats and may be pur-chased online at colon-nadecenter.org, by phone at 706-935-9000, or in per-son at The Colonnade Box Office.

Led by the Leading Player, a troupe of performers tell the story of Pippin. They suggest adventures and become participants on Pippin’s quest to find the greater meaning in life.
Pippin and his father Char-
lemagne are characters based on real-life individu-als in the Middle Ages, though that is the only true history in the telling of Pippin’s story which is the timeless struggle of young men to make their way in the world and discover what will leave them happy and fulfilled.
Pippin’s path takes him to the battlefield, to the throne once held by his father, and leads him to love.
Join our troupe of per-formers as they become the troupe of performers that help tell the story of Pippin and his search to find meaning in his life.
Due to some dark subject
matter surrounding war, this play may not be suitable for all ages.
Performances will be held July 24, 25, 31 & August 1st at 7:30p. A matinee will be held on August 1st at 1:00pm.

At a luncheon on June 13, 2015 The Colonnade staff and volunteers recog-nized Marie Holder and Orma Luckey for their outstanding service as Volun-teer Coordinators. Both Marie and Orma have been dedicated Colon-nade Volunteers for the last 14 years. We appreciate the dedication they have shown as Volunteers. While they will be “retiring” as Volunteer Coordi-nators, they will both remain active among the ranks and continue to serve The Colonnade well. We also take this opportunity to welcome new Volunteer Coordinators Dave and JoAnne Kittle.
