St. Theresa's Parish Library

During Lent, or in virus quarantine, you might need edifying literature for spiritual development. We have

removed all sign-out requirements so that you may freely use any library materials for as long as you need them.

The library cart is in the narthex. It carries books you may keep, trade or return. Any book or with a library label should be eventually returned. May your remaining

Lenten devotions be fruitful and grace-filled.

Spring Cleaning Time Has Arrived!

When cleaning your food pantry, please remember the local food

pantries need your support throughout the year.

Baby Bottle

Boomerang

Please continue to fill your Baby Bottles with coins,

currency and checks (made out to the Knight’s of Columbus). Remember to return your bottles to

St. Mary and St. Theresa . All proceeds are going to support the pro-life Pregnancy Center

of Greater Concord.

We are all in this together. In efforts to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus and of Codvid19, every individual, group and institution is being called to suspend business as usual. I find that changing our routines is really hard. What do we expect of ourselves? What can we reasonably expect of each other? What can our relatives, colleagues, neighbors and friends expect from us? We begin and end each day with a surrender to God, who loves us and has a plan for each of us to thrive and succeed. We beg God's mercy. We implore God's intervention. We ask the Lord, what is it you want us to do? A lot of what many of us are being asked is what not to do. Do not put yourselves at risk of contagion. Do not complain if facilities are closed. Do not disconnect from the world around you, because phones and computers are providing us all ways to look out for one another. Parish leaders and staff are exploring ways to stay connected with parishioners. Lets not hesitate to pick up the phone, send an email, or look to social media to meet our needs, to offer encouragement, and to enter into prayer. I still use a compact disk (CD) to recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet. That is quickly becoming old and dated technology. I have gotten rid of whatever cassette tapes I had, since I no longer have any ways to play them. Here are opportunities to use our digital world more as tools and perhaps less as toys. Just like the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They are not toys to be played with, but tools to connect us with God and in service to one another.
