All are welcome!

“I am the Good Shepherd” (John 10:11)

Even though you call me the Pastor of St. Cecilia Parish,

but the real pastor is Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd.

This is His parish. I’ve given it to Him.

I have given Him permission to do whatever He wants to

do with His parish and I ask you to do the same. He will

not take over the parish by force. He wants us to surrender

it to Him. If we are resistant and want to hang on to the

way we have always done things, if we don’t want any

changes, none will happen except for the general

decline that is happening in most of the catholic

churches of the archdiocese. We have to allow God

to bring in new life which is sometimes, messy and

uncomfortable and challenging but at the same time

exciting and wonderful. I invite you to join with me

in giving Jesus the Good Shepherd permission to

bring new life to St. Cecilia Parish.

posesiones materiales; riñendo sobre herencias terrenales;

olvidamos de que Dios es el dador de todo lo que somos;

18º DOMINGO DO TEMPO COMUM
