EEG DISCS 10mm, with Light weight Leads

Cast silver discs, with lightweight Kevlar reinforced Teflon coated cable. Ideal for Ambulatory or Long Term Monitoring where the lighter cable

puts less strain on the electrode and is more comfortable for the pa3ent.

Standard connectors are 1.5mm ‘touchproof’ (T/P) sockets, conforming to DIN 42 802.

Unimed Disposable EEG DISC Electrodes

The Unimed 10mm disposable (single use) s3ck-on discs are available in sets of 25 with lead lengths of 100cm &

150cm with Touch Proof connectors conforming to DIN 42 802.

Each foil pack contains 5 sets of 5 electrodes with a convenient zip lock on the outer package to reseal and

preserve any unused electrodes, minimising wastage.

The recording quality of these electrodes is comparable to our reusable product, but with all the cleanliness and

convenience of a single use product.

All electrodes are for single use and are not autoclavable.

OneStep EEG-Gel

OneStep EEG-Gel is a new formula3on of skin prepping paste and electrode gel combined. The primary use is for Cap & Pad electrodes where the

gel can be applied to the skin using a coKon bud and the electrode is applied directly to the scalp without the need for addi3onal conduc3ve gel.

When used with disc electrodes or ElectroCaps, the gel can be applied using a syringe and blunted needle, in which case the special OneStep

formula3on will provide low impedances and op3mum recording results.

The wire electrode is used for intramuscularelectromyography examina3ons and available as monopolar or bipolar. The 10cm steel wires have a

hooked 3p allowing the needle to stay correctly posi3oned a5er inser3on. The wire is PTFE insulated along the length, excluding the 3p.

The wires are characterised by a very small diameter which ensures op3mal comfort for the pa3entwhich is inserted into the muscle through a

disposable hypodermic needle. An alligator clip cable is used to grip the bare end of the wire electrode for connec3on to the recording device.

Gold Foil Electrodes

The gold foil corneal electrode (GFE) described by Arden et al in 1979 (Arden GB, Carter RM, Hogg CR, Seigel M and Margolis S. A gold foil elec-

trode, extending the horizons for clinical ophthalmology. Vis. Sci. 1979, 18: 421-426.) has been one of the leading electrodes for clinical and re-

search recordings of all modes of electrore3nography since.

Its major advantages over many other corneal electrodes include a high level of pa3ent comfort, ease of applica3on and a high level of signal integ-

rity. As there is no interference with the op3cal pathway the electrode is ideal for paKern recordings.

The electrode consists of a thin mylar substrate onto which a layer of high purity gold is deposited, the layer of gold forming the recording surface.

AKached to this film is a 100cm length of fine (30swg) silver coated copper wire.

DTL-PLUS® Disposable ERG ELECTRODE

The DTL-PLUS electrodes consist of 2.5 inches (6.5cm) of silver-impregnated nylon-thread affixed to two self-adhesive pads which aKach to the

inner- and outer- canthus. The electrode is supplied non-sterile but is packaged to allow gas sterilising if required.

The electrode has an integral lead, 5” (13cm) long, aKached to one of the pads, and terminates in a 1.5mm DIN socket. For greater lead length,

MULTI-Cap

MULTI-Cap is a new cap system that provides fast and secure posi3oning of electrodes for all type of EEG

recording. The system is available with a range of dedicated electrodes including a version that allows standard cup

electrodes to be held in place.

A special feature of MULTI-Cap is that it provides unobstructed access to the electrode-posi3ons through gaps in the

tex3le material, allowing applica3on of prepping paste or management of the electrodes during recording. The caps

are supplied with electrode holders in the standard 10/20 posi3ons but these can be changed by the user or addi-

3onal holders can be added for a higher density of electrode placements.
