IDENTIFYING THE NEED

THERE IS NO “ONE STOP SHOPPING “ TOOL FOR DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE OUT THERE

INTEROPERABLE COMMUNICATIONS IS A PROBLEMFITTING DIVERSE COMPNONENTS INTO AN

ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE IS A PROBLEMINTEGRATING DIFFERENT SOFTWARES INTO A

SYSTEM IS A PROBLEM

SO WHAT’S SO NEW?

CAN BE ADAPTED AND CAN BE TAUGHT NEW TRICKS

CAN EASILY ACCOMMODATE A NEW CONFIGURATION AND INFORMATION TO RESPOND TO A “KATRINA” SIZE DISASTER IN SHORT ORDER

DON’T BELIEVE IT – LET US EXPLAIN

SCOPE

– CAN ACCOMMODATE AND/OR LINK TO ALL GUIDING POLICY DOCUMENTS

– CAN CHANGE TO FIT NEW INCIDENT INFORMATION, LIKE INCIDENTS, ANCILLARY INCIDENTS

– CAN BE CHANGED MANUALLY– CAN REACH AND IDENTIFY ALL RESOURCES – CAN GENERATE RESPONSE PLANS IN SECONDS– CAN OFFER INTEROPERABLE COMMUNICATIONS– CAN BE USED ANYWHERE– CAN ACCOMMODATE TO ANY ARCHITECTURE AND

INTEGRATE TO ANY SYSTEM

SUMMARY

We are presenting a new and truly innovative concept and approach to emergency preparedness and disaster recovery. Normally separate disciplines and often stovepipes, our approach combines business process management (BPM), enterprise architecture, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery using powerful BPM software as the cornerstone of the approach. This approach would empower business owners, Federal agencies, with the ability to pre-plan response type/ scenario requirements and resources (e.g. chemical , biological, explosions, weather, etc.) and to develop entirely new ones in real-time as a situation unfolds, offering these capabilities to any level or discipline within an organization or an entire operation. We use business rules and business processes as the guiding force for preparedness and response to provide a capability that can reside on a laptop and be web accessible on a global basis. \\
