NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Someone once wrote, “Grandparents make the world… a little softer, a little kinder, and a little warmer.” One of
the most anticipated events, Grandparents’ Day is just days away!!! As a sign of appreciation for the role grandparents’
play in our lives, the students and teachers have worked very hard to prepare a dazzling showcase of our student’s talent in
this year’s presentation.
Due to limited seating and parking there are two special performances scheduled. Parents are invited to “Jump and Jive” on
Thursday for the first performance beginning at 1:00 pm in the Activity Center. The Activity Center will be open to par-
ents at 12:45 pm for seat selection. When you arrive on campus, please remember to form and follow the afternoon carpool
formation.
On Friday, Grandparents are invited to a prayer service and the spectacular student performance of “Jump and Jive” begin-
ning at 8:45 am. Please see below specific details regarding parking, hospitality of coffee and pastries, and entrance time
into the Activity Center to communicate to your child’s special guest.
* 7:30-7:55 am - St. Jude School’s Morning carpool runs. Parking in the lot is very difficult and limited during
this time of morning. Please do not arrive prior to 8:00 am.
*8:00 am - St. Jude Men’s Club will begin to provide guidance and help grandparents with
locating a parking space.
*8:00 am - Grandparents are invited to join the Home and School Association for a warm cup of coffee and
assorted pastries in the cafeteria.
*8:30 am - The Activity Center will be open to grandparents to find a seat for the
performance of “Jump and Jive”.
This is a time of year when many of us reflect on the many blessings in our lives. I would like to thank the multitude peo-
ple who make St. Jude such a special school. Thank you to:
*The incredible devotion of our staff for their ministry in Catholic education, and their unique ability to teach our students.
*To the students who consistently work hard to learn, and the parents who encourage them.
* To the amazing support the Home and School Association provide the teachers, students and families of St. Jude School.
*To the Men’s Club for their willingness to assist the school with the carpool/parking procedures, cleaning the grounds
and facilities, and any other school needs.
*To the Athletic Association members and coaches, who stress to our student athletes the importance of being a good
teammate on and off of the athletic field of event.
*To the St. Jude School Advisory Council members for their dedication and service in an advisory capacity to insure the
continued vitality of our school.
*To the newly formed St. Jude Student Advisory Council members who were nominated by their homeroom classmates.
Theses middle school homeroom representatives will provide administration wonderful and thought input into things that
are important to students such as, lunch menu, and much more.
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
