SecurTrust FCU has just completed a successful year ending 2016. As we begin a new year, it is my wish that we continue to seek and establish relationships with our members which will be long-lasting and beneficial to everyone. During the year, your Credit Union was able to add many new services, such as remote deposit, payments by credit/debit card, online loan & member applications, and digital e-sign capabilities for documents. Beginning this year, we will be offering e-statements. Our biggest accomplishment was, of course, the building of our beautiful new facility. We also gave away a 2016 Hyundai Accent (in conjunction with Homer Skelton Hyundai in Olive Branch) as our Grand Opening promotion. We were pleased to present this new auto to the winner of the drawing (a long-time, faithful member) Charles Borrum, of Memphis, TN, who is a Greyhound driver. Thanks to YOU, our members, for making all this possible! It is through your loyalty and support that we have been able to grow our Credit Union! We appreciate you! Our Board of Directors is pleased to give back to our members in the form of interest rebates and bonus dividends. Because of your faithfulness and support, our members have been rewarded with a 5% interest rebate on loans and a 25% bonus dividend on savings. eStatements Are Coming!This quarter, we will be switching to eStatements! You no longer have to wait for your statement to arrive by mail! You can now access them anywhere you can check your email! Save a few trees. Get rid of paper clutter. Eliminate the risk of paper statements. All members will be automatically enrolled in eStatements, so make sure your email address and contact information are up to date. Members who wish to continue receiving paper statements must fill out the Opt-Out form below and return it to us, either via mail or in person.

It’s time for our annual April “No-Fooling” auto loan promotion! You could pay 0% interest on your new auto loan for a whole year. Make a new loan with SecurTrust FCU between January 2nd, 2017 and March 31st, 2017, and you’ll be entered in a drawing for 0% interest for one year on that loan!* On April 3rd, 2017, one name will be drawn from all loans granted during this time and that member will pay no interest on their loan from April 3rd, 2017 to March 30, 2018.

IRA Tax BreaksIRAs are currently earning up to 1% APR, with dividends paid quarterly. You can contribute up to $5,500 for tax years 2016 and 2017, plus an additional $1,000 if you’re age 50 or older. You may make contributions for tax year 2016 until April 15, 2017.
