Meet Mr. Chase Greer

Mr. Greer is on a mission. His 8th grade class must successfully create a research paper about a trip to Canada, using all Internet resources.

Can they do it?

Mr. Greer’s steps for creating a middle-school research paper:1. Select subject to research2. Create questions about

this subject3. Find sources that relate to

your subject4. Take notes on your

sources5. Organize your notes6. Write your research paper

Now let’s follow one of Mr. Greer’s 8th grade students, Trish Murphy, on a DanaQuest to Canada.

Trish grabs her DanaWireless…

She creates a DanaQuest…

And then she creates the key sections of her paper…

She starts her research by reviewing her research list and the assignment…

And fills in her research cards while searching the Internet…

Once she has found a number of sources she decides to reorganize her topics….

And organizes her research cards within each topic….

Finally, Trish is ready to begin writing her paper.
