It’s a word that really doesn’t make into my daily vocabulary. One that I don’t just throw around. However, when I think of the fellowship, when I think of the spirit I sense at Cadiz Baptist Church, I just find myself using the word sweet. I believe there is a sweet spirit permeating Cadiz Baptist Church right now. I hope that you feel the same way and I hope you are rejoicing with it as I am. Its’ been more than two years since I was confirmed as your pastor, and a little less than two years since officially being installed as your pastor. But in this time of me learning you and you learning me, my prayer for our church has not changed. I desire for God to do something absolutely amazing among us. That together we see and experience Him in ways we simply cannot explain. That we taste and see that He is good. It is, I know, a very vague, but very specific request. I want God to work. I am excited when I sense this sweet spirit because I cannot help but believe that it is a precursor for all that God is going to do. So, how are things at Cadiz Baptist? You have my answer – Sweet!
