Here, the genius of Brancusi and his artistic vision have created the first symbolic sculpture ever done being integral part of his revolutionary approach in modern sculpture. The Endless Column is “like an eternal song which brings us to the infinite of a beyond” (Hulten et al, Brancusi 1986, p. 230). Here, the genius of Brancusi and his artistic vision have created the first symbolic sculpture ever done being integral part of his revolutionary approach in modern sculpture. Author of books dedicated to the Endless Column, daughter of Stefan Georgescu Gorjan, she depicts in a

photographic reportage the odissey of building the Column in Târgu Jiu, Romania, in the autumn of 1938.
