Finest watchmaking in limited quantities
For decades, watchmaker Klaus Jakob has been famed for his exceptional chronometers and
his individually designed timepieces have won numerous awards.
The design of this timepiece (“Model 1”) takes its cues from the historical pieces of the 1930s
and in crafting it, Klaus Jakob has produced a piece of jewellery very fitting for the times, with
a very rare, exceptionally beautiful Unitas 6300 hand-wound movement. The Unitas 6300
was originally designed for military use and in the 1960s was one of the first movements with
a directly driven centre second hand.
The design featuring the railway pattern is inspired by tachometers as used around 80 ye-
ars ago in Erdmann & Rossi bodies on Horch chassis. Horch purchased a significant quantity
of his timepieces from R. Mühle & Sohn, Glashütte. We were advised by Mühle-Glashütte
GmbH in the conception of the piece.
Stainless steel or white gold plated casing. Sapphire glass. Screwed bezel. Each chronometer
is personalised for its buyer.
The Erdmann & Rossi Edition by Klaus Jakob (“Model 1”) will be part of a batch of just 10
pieces and will be produced individually to order. Secure one of these rare pieces.
