The G20 brings together the world’s major advancedand emerging economies, comprising 19 countrymembers and the EU. The country members includefour EU Member States (Germany, France, Italy andthe United Kingdom), and 15 non-EU countries fromthe rest of the world. The G20 members covered61 % of the world’s land area, generated 85 % ofglobal gross domestic product (GDP), and were hometo 64 % of the world’s population in 2015.
