Enterprise Europe Network
• Aims to offer a “one-stop shop” to meet all the European information needs of SMEs in Europe.
• Facilitate European Technology transfer Partner Alert Service Intellectual Property & Asset management support Brokerage events
• Activities to promote and help companies access European R&D funding

Eurostars
The Eurostars Programme is the first European funding and support programme to be specifically dedicated to R&D performing SMEs.

• Any technology area.
• Bottom up approach.
• Minimum 1 European partner from 1 Eurostars country.
• Administered by national funding bodies - in UK by TSB.
• Deadlines 30th September 2010/February 2011

Eurostars - Timescales
• Maximum project duration of 3 years.
• Ready for launch onto market within 2 years of
project completion. • 4 months from deadline to decision

Eurostars - Eligibility• No partner or country contributing more than 75% of
costs.
• Lead partner must be an R&D performing SME.
• At least 50% of the project’s core activity should be carried out by SMEs.
• Separate legal entities & trading for more than 12 months.
• Additional criteria for micro companies

• A certified copy of every participants annual financial report.
• A draft consortium agreement.
