The Program

Join the Summer Internship Program and collaborate with passionate and diverse teams from finance, technology, audit, and more. The program gives students the opportunity to obtain workplace experience, meet new people, develop hard and soft skills as well as apply school based theory and class curriculum to “real world” scenarios. We encourage and support the growth and development of rising university juniors and seniors.The program serves to supply qualified candidates into the Fannie Mae Associate Program, which is a two-year program for recent college graduates as well as to recruit recent college graduates into entry level positions throughout the company.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute to a team atmosphere • Self-starter, strong business acumen, and results focused• Strong analytical background• Proficiency with various technology applications, most notably MS Office• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship• GPA of 3.0 or above

At the end of the summer, we convert high-performing interns into Associates or other entry-level roles. Goal is to extend full-time offers before students head back to school in the fall.
