The first MRF in Nigeria Commissioned May 15th 2015 WestAfricaENRG built and commissioned the first Materials Recovery Facility in Nigeria. Situated in Igando, Lagos and commissioned on May 15th 2015 by the then Governor of Lagos State Babatunde Fashola (SAN). The facility and our attached recycling centre employees nearly 600 people, 72% women and 95% from the local community. We divert over 30% of the valuable fraction with the waste from landfill back into commerce and industry within Nigeria, Kano, Abia, Ogun and Lagos. www.westafricaenrg.com
