With the knowledge that every food choice has a crucial impact on the ecosystem, Universo Vegano™ uses only natural foods, with mostly zero food miles and without meat products or products deriving from animals.

Still today, vegans and vegetarians are struggling to marry their lifestyle choices with aspects of daily life, such as going out to dinner with friends or a lunch break. Many restaurants offer both vegan/vegetarian dishes, as well as meat or fish, a choice that is incompatible with the pure vegan vision. We at Universo Vegano® have finally created a place where vegans, vegetarians and, why not, omnivores can find a wide range of “100% cruelty free” products that are able to satisfy the palate. An offer that goes beyond the classic “vegetarian” sandwich (the only alternative that is often present in Italian menus).

Our Concepts UV STORE This is the main Universo Vegano® formula, which provides in creating “turnkey” franchises

(see details below) for selling sandwiches, piadine (flatbread wraps), pizzas, desserts, and soups, all strictly 100% vegetable based.

UV MEALThe UV MEAL formula adds to the base formula the possibility of offering delicious vegan first and second course meals, which are specially studied by our chefs in collaboration with known nutritionists.

UV BARThe UV BAR formula consists in adding other options to your franchise point, such as breakfast, and cocktails and extracted juices, so that you may complete your range of products and please all the needs of your customers.

Since the launch of the franchise, in one year, we have created over 20 Universo Vegano points throughout Italy, and the demand is growing day-by -day! To date, we have over 3,000 requests for new openings from many countries around the world.

The trump card for Universo Vegano® is the ability to have a truly heterogeneous target: besides satisfying the needs of vegans and vegetarians, we have also brought the vegan diet closer to omnivores who are curious about the innovative products that greatly remind both the eyes and the palate of those classic sandwiches made from animal derivatives. TrainingWe regularly organize training courses, in order to convey to the franchisee all the relevant skills related to the sale and the knowledge of our products. The training courses focus mainly on the: group’s philosophy, knowledge of raw materials, assembly techniques, methods of presenting the products to the public, news, use of cash register hardware/software, and updates on industry legislation.

ProductsWe will periodically provide in stocking the franchisee with the raw materials required for preparing the products. All take-away products are supplied with Universo Vegano® branded packaging. Excluded from the supplies are fresh products. Since they have a specific shelf-life, they must be purchased in loco.

PromotionThanks to our in-house marketing and communications office, Universo Vegno® promotes its concept and retail franchises through the most suitable advertising media (radio, TV, website, social networks, blogs, flyers, posters, brochures, press releases, etc.).
