BACKGROUND Asnaf As-Solihin is a home with 80 odd
children’s, consist of boys and girls. The home was established in January
2010. The purpose of the Home is on the basis
of responsibility to watch the young generation that was born as an orphan(s) to build a strong basic foundation in terms of education, personality and many more.
BACKGROUND
Lot 839, Jalan Aman, Kanchong Darat, Banting,
Selangor.
RESEARCH Based on the survey: - Majority of survey
participants exercise weekly.
- The participants who do not exercise state reasons like:
- A) lazy- B) Lack of discipline - C) No one to exercise
with
- 65% of participants prefer cardio as an exercise, 30% prefers to go to the gym & 5% prefers to do yoga.
- On the F.I.T. scale, 60% participants rated themselves as average.
- 80% of participants would support the F.I.T. Campaign
SURVEY
OBJECTIVES To organize a 3-day awareness campaign
on a healthier lifestyle among college students.
To educate college students on the importance of regular health check ups.
To educate college students that maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be fun.
To raise funds for Asnaf As-Solihin children’s home.
STRATEGIES ONSITE - 18th November – 20th November 2014
ONLINE - 15th September – 20th November 2014
TACTICS VIA CAMPUS 1. Set up an awareness booth in front of
Taylor’s Lakeside Student Life Center.2. Have a donation box for the children’s
home. 3. Come up with suitable activities and
games for upcoming campaign.
TACTICS VIA ONLINE 1. Create Facebook & Instagram page just
for the campaign. 2. Post pictures of motivational quotes on
all social networking sites. 3. Constantly check on replies and
constantly post posts.
PROPOSED CAMPUS ACTIVITES 1. BLOOD DONATION/ BLOOD CHECK UP - To create awareness among college students on
the importance of blood check ups and blood donations.
2. ZUMBA/MUAY THAI/YOGA - An interesting exercise class for students who
would like to attend short sessions provided. (RM5 per person)
3. FUTSAL TOURNAMENT - A futsal tournament limited to 10 teams with 8 people to join.
PROPOSED CAMPUS ACTIVITIES 4. THE F.I.T. CHALLENGE- Consists of a few obstacle courses that
will have a small competition among students who participate.
5. TUG OF WAR - A thug of war that will be put right infront of the awareness booth to attract attention and to allow students to win prizes.
BACK UP ACTIVITIES 1. TREASURE HUNT - An interesting treasure hunt around campus for college students to take part in. 2. SMOOTHIE BOOTH - A small smoothie booth run by crew members selling healthy fruit smoothies/juices at a reasonable price.
BACK UP ACTIVITIES WHY? - Back up plan - On the day itself, it rains, the F.I.T.
Challenge will not be able to stand.

Fit Challenge, Awareness Booth, Smoothie Booth (18/11-20/11)- 12 pm – 4pm- VENUE: Opposite of Student Life Center4. Zumba, Muay Thai, Yoga (19/11, 18/11,18/11)- 4 pm – 5 pm - VENUE: TBA

TIMELINE
1st week SEPTEMBER: - Logo needs to be completed - Flyers, poster & social media accounts need to be made & activated. - Survey to be sent out.
2nd week SEPTEMBER: - Teaser, posters & flyers sent out to public. - Get quotations done for everything in need of quotation.
3rd week SEPTEMBER: - Follow up with all quotations. - Finalize all venues for activities.
4th week SEPTEMBER: - FINALIZE ALL ACTIVITIES
5th week:- Finalize poster & flyers followed by sending the posters
and flyers out.
CHANNELS SOCIAL MEDIA - Establishing a facebook page for The F.I.T.
Campaign by Taylors University SOC to create hype among college students and to gain support. (TARGET: 500 likes)
- Create a Twitter and Instagram account for The F.I.T. Campaign by Taylors University SOC.
- Post daily/hourly posts on the twitter and instagram pages for followers to view.
BUDGET The team will source for
sponsorships and donations to run this event.
BREAKDOWN Smoothie Juice RM 400 - Includes buying cups and straws Futsal Tournament RM 400 -Includes preparing certificate for participants. Yoga RM150 Rental of yoga mats
Fit Challenge RM 450 -Includes one certificate for the best time and
Hamper for the winner. Treasure Hunt (backup plan) RM300 for preparation of the game *prices has been finalized by Sara, there would
not be any budget for prices.

EVALUATION 1. SOCIAL MEDIA MONITORING - Number of likes & followers per week on the campaign’s social
media accounts.
2. SURVEY QUESTIONS AT THE AWARENESS BOOTH - Number of surveys done per day (min 50 per day)
3. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS - Target number for FUN RUN MARATHON: 150ppl- Target number of blood donated: 100 pax - Entry fees for the Futsal Tournament: 10 teams; 80 ppl
4. AMOUNT OF CASH RAISED & CLOTHING & PRODUCTS GATHERED
- RM 2000 along with clothes & food/product donation.
