Installation of Rotaract Clubs

In our regular meeting on July 26, 2019 four Rotaract Clubs were

installed in the gracious presence of PP Rtn. Dr. Vanita Gupta, District

Chair, New Generation Youth Service. President Rtn. Salil Dev Singh

Bali welcomed her and the Rotaractors. The President handed over the

meeting to Director Youth Service Rtn. Renu Chopra, a retired Govt.

School Principal, who conducted the installation of the Rotaract Clubs

in a disciplined manner, maintaining the time schedule and decorum.

Installation of four Rotaract Clubs in one meeting was not an easy task,

while the Editor PP Rtn. Dr. V.J.S. Vohra was behind the camera and

through his mobile the entire installation ceremony of four Rotaract

Clubs was on facebook through live streaming. This is probably the

first time in the world that four Rotaract Clubs were installed together

with live coverage on facebook.

After meeting was called to order by PP Dr. V.J.S. Vohra,

National Anthem was led by Rotaractors

The Rotaractors of all the four Clubs gave interesting presentations of

the previous year, for which President Salil Bali complimented them. He

was confident that the current teams of 2019-20 will also do well and

perform beyond our expectations, judging them by the plans the

Rotaract Club Presidents projected.

Samaritan – Rtr. Edward George

District council was represented by District Rotaract Secretary Rtr.

Chinmay Abbhi, District Joint Secretary Rtr. Ishan Garg and Assistant

DRR region RID 3080 Rtr. Bhavna Notyal.

In her inspiring address PP Dr. Vanita Gupta went down the memory

lane to the year 1975 and shared her 5 years experience as a Rotaractor,

as a medical student in Grant Medical College, Mumbai. She joined

Rotary in the year 1991. Dr Vanita congratulated the Rotaractors of all

four Clubs for the wonderful projects they had undertaken, being

youngsters and age in their favour.

Dr Vanita Gupta expected the new teams to take their clubs to greater heights. She also adviced the Rotaractors that after crossing the age limit

set for Rotaractors, they should continue their good work by becoming Rotarians.
