The Interview By: Axel Kjono

Mr. Knutson has been busy with the fifth

graders. Mr. Knutson is the fifth grade teacher at

NCE. Mr. Knutson has been teaching at NCE for

twenty-one years but teaching thirty-three years in

all.

Mr. Knutson likes working with the students.

Mr. Knutson has a family that includes: Jake - 21,

Kelsey - 19, Jaycee - 15 and Sharlene is his wife. Mr.

Knutson loves to play sports. He likes the summer

because he gets it off. If Mr. Knutson could travel

anywhere, he’d go to Montana or Colorado. He has a

dog named, Ella.

I interviewed a student named, Maverick. He is

eleven years old. He likes his teacher. His favorite

subject is history. He said the students are working

hard on math in the classroom.

I hope you enjoyed a little bit about Mr. Knutson

and the 5th grade.

Mr. Anderson is awesome!!!!!

Mr. Anderson’s sixth grade class is doing cool things! Mr. Anderson has been teaching for thirty-seven years! He likes the small school. Mr. Anderson has two sons, Michael, 29 and Matthew, 24. Mr. Anderson’s favorite thing to do is to go hunting. Mr. Anderson’s favorite part of the year is Christmas. If Mr. Anderson could travel anywhere, he would travel somewhere warm in the winter. Mr. Anderson has one dog. The sixth graders are working on algebra, health and learning about Mexico.

I interviewed a sixth grader named Annabelle. Her favorite subject is geography. She likes sports and she likes to play on the monkey bars with friends at recess.

Mrs. Schluter the Spectacular Speech Teacher

The Spectacular Speech Teacher

Mrs. Schluter has been busy with the

students at NCE. Mrs. Schluter is a spectacular

speech teacher.

Mrs. S has been teaching at NCE for two

years so far. She likes her students because they

work hard and they are nice, plus, they are FUN!

Mrs. Schluter has a husband named Mitch who is 32

years old and a son named Jameson who is two

years old. She loves to go to plays because she

loves music. Mrs. Schluter’s favorite part of the

year is fall because she likes the weather and the

color. If Mrs. S could travel anywhere, she would

go to Japan because its culture is different and it is

interesting. Mrs. S has a dog named Bela and a cat

named Como. In class, Mrs. S has been working on

helping students talk.

I interviewed a 4th grader named, Owen . He

likes Mrs. S. because she is nice and gives help.

Owen went to Hawaii in the summer so he could go

see his cousins, aunts and uncles. Owen lives in the

country because his family chooses to live there.

The Marvelous Music Room

The students in Mrs.Jurava’s class has been

busy. Mrs. Jurava has been teaching at NCE

for four years.

She likes little kids. Mrs .Jurava has two

girls and two boys. She hangs out with her

family. Her favorite time of the year is

Christmas because she gets presents. If she

could travel, she would go to Norway and

Europe. She has a dog and a cat.

Her class is working on the Halloween

program.

Dennis the custodian of nce

Dennis is our custodian at nce. Dennis the custodian has

been working at nce for THIRTY years.

Dennis Has one brother and one sister. hE IS single AND

DOESN’T HAVE ANY children. Dennis loves to build with wood.

his favorite time of the year is February. DENNiS’S fAVOriTE

thing to do is build. Dennis wants to go to Hawaii to see

pearl harbor. Dennis useD to have a cat but not anymore.

Dennis is working on a snow blower. Dennis likes His job

BECAUSE HE pickS on the kids. Dennis thinKs his job is fun

because HE PICKS on the kids. DENNiS’S job before this one

WAS WORKING ON construction. he built the teal barn and it

stands in Gary, MN. the history of the teal barn IS THAT IT

WAS built by Dennis and his father. Dennis also lives right

next to the teal barn in Gary, MN. gARY Has been HERE for

250 years.

Grandma Alice Takes the Palace

Grandma Alice is busy in her second year of

teaching at NCE and she likes it.

Grandma Alice has been working here for

two years. She likes working with the students

because they are nice. She has six boys, twenty-

one grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She likes reading, cooking and sewing. Her

favorite part of the year is December because she

likes Christmas. If she could go anywhere it would

be to Maine to see the covered bridges and the

leaves in the fall. She has two dogs and two cats.

The Fantastic Mrs. Smart

Mrs. Smart and the preschool are doing great! Mrs. Smart has been doing great! Mrs. Smart has been teaching for two years.

Mrs. Smart has a family. She has two daughters and a husband. Her favorite thing to do is watch sports. Her favorite part of the year is fall. Is she could travel anywhere; she would go to Greece. She has two dogs.

I interview a preschooler named, Gunner. He likes going to football games. He doesn’t have any brothers or sisters.

The Cooking Cooks

Mrs.Thronson is the NCE cook. Today’s

lunch will be chicken nuggets. Bindy has been

working as a cook for 24 years at NCE.

Bindy like’s NCE most because of the little

kids. Mrs. Thronson likes Halloween because she

likes handing out candy. She likes to ride horse in

her free time. She wants to go to Egypt someday.

She is cooking baked ham, potatoes, green beans

and apple crisp tomorrow.

Everything is Awesome in Kindergarten

The Kindergarteners in Mrs. Nogowski’s class have been busy. Mrs. Nogowski teaches kindergarten. Sydney is a student in Mrs. Nogowski’s class. Her cat died. She has a family. She has a mom, dad, and has a sister named Taylor. Sydney likes Halloween. She would like to travel to a city. The kindergarteners are working on writing.

The Cool Music Teacher: By Taylor Stueness

Mr. Ward has been teaching music.

He has been working at N.C.E for

eighteen years. He likes N.C.E because it is a small

community. He has one daughter. He likes listening to

music. His favorite part of the year is summer because

he likes going to the beach. If he could travel anywhere

he would go anywhere in the U.S.

Mr. Ward has a cat named Mr. Jinks. His favorite

color is blue . His favorite instrument is a trumpet

because he likes the sound. His favorite food is thin

crust pizza because it tastes awesome!

Christmas concert .

THE COOL BOSS BY: TITAN BOMAN

Mr.Flaten is the boss of NCE. He

can be funny, maybe fun and maybe you

like him or maybe you don’t.

Mr.Flaten has a wife and three

kids. He has worked at NCE for three

years. His favorite time of the year is

February because it is short. If Mr.Flaten

could travel anywhere, Mr.Flaten would

go to Australia . He doesn’t have pets but

his family still like pets.

Mrs. Stuhaug in First Grade

Mrs. Stuhaug teaches first grade and Maddie is a

student in first grade.

Mrs. Stuhaug has been teaching for 23 years!

WOW!

Mrs.Stuhaug loves working with the kids and lives

with her mom, who is 84 years old. Her name is

Dorothy and she is retired. Mrs. Stuhaug used to work

at a nursing home. Mrs. Stuhaug loves to read and

would love to go to Alaska because it’s beautiful. She

has a dog named, Storm. The students are working on

adding and subtracting.

I interviewed a student named Madison who is in

first grade. She likes to eat mac and cheese and play

cards.

Mrs. Thronson

Mrs. Thronson is the social worker at NCE. She likes the

students at NCE.

Mrs. Thronson has been working at NCE for four

years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mrs. Thronson has a husband. She likes to

paint furniture. Her favorite part of the year is Christmas. If Mrs.

Thronson could travel anywhere she would travel to the Idaho

Mountains. She has one dog, one rabbit and nine

kittens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mrs.Thronson is working with students on

their social skills.

Heather the Awesome Cook By: Mady Ruud

Heather is busy cooking and serving lunch and breakfast for my class and many other classes.

Heather has worked for four years at NCE. Heather likes laughing

and joking with the kids at NCE. Heather has a family that includes her husband John, two twin

daughters; Jenny and Katie, who both go to the NCE high school and are both in 7th grade.

Heather’s favorite thing to do is go to the races with her family. Her favorite time of the year is summer. If Heather could go anywhere, she would go to Alaska. Heather has many pets that include; chickens, ducks, two dogs, thirteen cats, two ponies, six cows, and four bunnies. I interviewed a third grader about lunch. Her name is Rihanna. Her favorite lunch at school is a burrito. She eats breakfast at school, too. Her class eats with kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd from 12:00 to 12:30. Now you know a little bit about Heather and Rihanna.

The Cool Third Graders

The third grade is cool! Mrs. Liebl has been

working at NCE for 21 years. That is a long

time! She likes the students.

Mrs. Liebl likes to dance and her favorite

part of the year is December If Mrs. Liebl could go anywhere, it would be Hawaii . Mrs. Liebl does not

have any pets I asked Mrs. Liebl what they are working on

in class and she told me that they were working on

multiplication in math.

I interviewed Braxton, a third grader. His best friend is

Carter. Braxton likes NCE. He plays football.

The Amazing Grandma Deb

Grandma Deb helps people with reading and other things. She is

really nice!

Grandma Deb has been working at NCE for two to three years.

She likes NCE because it`s small and the teachers are nice to the

students. Grandma Deb has a family which includes, a husband and

three sons. The names of the boys are Nicholas, Dustin and Kasey.

Grandma Deb likes to walk and meditate. Her favorite part of the year

is fall because of the colors and trees. If Grandma Deb could travel

anywhere she would travel to the Grand Canyon because it is like a big

picture of nature. Grandma Deb used to have a dog named Boots but

he died. Grandma Deb used to be an EMT and a para in three different

schools and when there wasn’t any school she was a nurse.

The Super Second Grade By: Jacob Ruud

The second graders in Mrs. Hoven’s class are working hard. Mrs. Hoven has been teaching for twenty-four years. She likes all the great kids when they come to second grade. She has three sons named Chase who is twenty-two years old, Tyler who is nineteen years old and Ryan who is fourteen years old. Mrs. Hoven likes to go fishing and likes to read. Her favorite part of the year is summer. Mrs. Hoven would travel to Hawaii or Europe is she had the chance. Mrs. Hoven has a dog named Tucker.

The second graders are working on reading. I interviewed a second grader named, Sam. He likes Halloween. He does not like math. He likes the color orange. Now you know a little bit about Mrs. Hoven’s second grade class.
