Children are an important part of our worshipping community. We
offer a One Room Sunday School in English and Spanish. Parents are
welcome to spend time in the classroom, which is located in the
Fireside Room (ask ushers for direction). Children return briefly
before the sermon for a Message. We provide books and drawing
material for those who wish to remain with their parents. Children
return in time to receive Holy Communion. Youth and children lead
various parts of the liturgy on the second Sunday of each month.

A Reading from the Letter to the Romans
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel
of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy
scriptures, the gospel concerning his Son, who was descended from David
according to the flesh and was declared to be Son of God with power

Lectura de la Carta a los Romanos
Los saluda Pablo, siervo de Cristo Jesús llamado por él para ser apóstol y
apartado para anunciar el evangelio de Dios. Por medio de sus profetas, Dios
ya lo había prometido en las santas Escrituras. Es el mensaje que trata de su
Hijo Jesucristo, nuestro Señor, quien nació, como hombre, de la

El origen de Jesucristo fue éste: María, su madre, estaba comprometida para

poder del Espíritu Santo. José, su marido, que era un hombre justo y no
quería denunciar públicamente a María, decidió separarse de ella en secreto.
Ya había pensado hacerlo así, cuando un ángel del Señor se le apareció en

The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,

Holy and gracious Father: In your infinite love you made us for yourself; and, when
we had fallen into sin and become subject to evil and death, you, in your mercy, sent
Jesus Christ, your only and eternal Son, to share our human nature, to live and die as
one of us, to reconcile us to you, the God and Father of all.
He stretched out his arms upon the cross, and offered himself, in obedience to your
will, a perfect sacrifice for the whole world.
On the night he was handed over to suffering and death, our Lord Jesus Christ took
bread; and when he had given thanks to you, he broke it, and gave it to his disciples,

We celebrate the memorial of our redemption, O Father, in this sacrifice of praise
and thanksgiving. Recalling his death, resurrection, and ascension, we offer you
these gifts.
Sanctify them by your Holy Spirit to be for your people the Body and Blood of your
Son, the holy food and drink of new and unending life in him. Sanctify us also that
we may faithfully receive this holy Sacrament, and serve you in unity, constancy,
and peace; and at the last day bring us with all your saints into the joy of your eternal
kingdom.
All this we ask through your Son Jesus Christ. By him, and with him, and in him, in
the unity of the Holy Spirit all honor and glory is yours, Almighty Father, now and

outside of the church office. Our junior warden checks that list frequently,
and if it’s not written down, no one will attend to it. Thank You

available now. Pick one up from the counter in the narthex.

~20 Christmas Baskets is Our Goal for this Christmas~ There will be another great opportunity to help St. Paul’s friends and
families with their Christmas dinners. There will be shopping lists put out
in the narthex today for Christmas food baskets. Sign up if you are in need of
a basket, or want to help assemble or deliver baskets. Sign-up sheets will be
in the narthex. Baskets will be assembled and delivered December 22.
If you add people to the list, you can deliver the baskets, or if that isn’t
possible, let us know. Make sure we have the correct address so we can have
someone deliver them. Our goal is to complete the whole process that
Sunday before 3:00pm
