The Hero • Michael Douglas plays Nicholas Van Orton in the movie the game• His role through out the movie is the hero• Nicholas is lonely and rich in the movie and his brother seeks him help but

the help turns into a disaster• Nicholas has a series of events happen to him while he is playing the

game, this creates a great movie

The villian • The game that is played on Nicholas is the villain in the movie• The game is set up from a company called CRS, they play games on there

customers that make them fell paranoid and place them in life threatening positions

• The game attacks there customers at random times so the customer has no idea when a act is going to be played on them making them feel uncormfotable until it is over

The Doner• Sean Penn plays the doner in the movie the game • Sean Penn plays Conrad Van Orton, Nicholas Van Orton • Conrad gives the gift (CRS) to Nicholas, but to make that gift good Conrad needs to

act along with the game• This then makes the game run smoothly for him but on the other hand not for

Nicholas

The Dispatcher• James Rebhorn is the dispatcher in the movie• James Rebhorn plays Jim Feingold in the game, he works for a acting company and

is used by the CRS to act as a salesman to Nicholas Van Orton• Jim is used by the CRS to persuade Nicholas to join CRS, he uses his acting ability to

convince Nicholas to complete all the forms and all the fitness test

• Jim sends Nicholas on his way through to the start of the game

The helper • Deborah Kara Unger plays Christine in the movie • Christine also works for the CRS, she meets Nicholas when she gets fired for

spilling a drink onto him they then get into some trouble together • Christine then helps Nicholas get to the end of the game she is a sideman guiding

him through• But Christine does not tell Nicholas that she is apart of the CRS until Nicholas

comes to her house and realize everything is fake in her house
