The Giver and His Receivers

Phil 4:4-6; Col 3:12-15

• Romans 1:20-21For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power & divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, & their foolish heart was darkened.

• Psalms 50:23 He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; and to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God.

• Psalms 69:30 (David)I will praise the name of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving.

• Psalms 95:2Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

• Col 3:16-17…singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 WHATEVER YOU DO IN WORD OR DEED, DO ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

• Psalms 68:19Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden [loads us with benefits], the God who is our salvation.
