2014 Goldfields Classic
TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS
1. Open to all male and female amateur players in nominated events with an official Golf Australia handicap.
2. Entry forms and accompanying fees must be received by 5pm on Monday, 19th May 2014. Late entriesmay not be accepted if fields are at capacity.
3. The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited will apply together with the LocalRules as determined by the Goldfields Golf Club (GGC) Match Committee.
4. Dress Code - Neat and tidy golf attire with enclosed shoes - on course and in the clubhouse.
5. Golf link cards or handicap cards must be produced for proof of handicap on request by the GGC MatchCommittee, who reserve the right to adjust handicaps.
6. The Match Committee reserves the right to vary conditions of play in any way if found necessary (includinginclement weather). First Gross ties for Men and Ladies in 36 Hole Event will be decided by sudden deathplayoff on holes 1, 8 & 9 which will be repeated until a winner is determined. All other ties are to bedecided by using countback method.
7. The GGC Match Committee will arrange all draws for tee off times. The fields for all events during theClassic will be restricted to 171 players. Should entries exceed this number, players may be balloted outcommencing with the highest handicap players.
8. All competitors to report to the start no later than 20 minutes before scheduled tee-off time. If tee-off timeis missed, competitor will be disqualified.
9. All score cards to be handed into the Captain’s Office within a reasonable time of completion of a round.Please note: mark your cards in 36 hole event with VET for Veterans (over 55), VINT for Vintage (over65) and J for Junior (18 years & under, eligible Juniors must have been 17 as at December 31, 2013).
10. Laser and GPS measuring devices are permitted, provided the sole function of the device is to measuredistance only. No other function must be available on the device, whether used or not.
11. Use of motorised carts is permitted throughout the Classic (Paxton & Ivie Temperley players please see#16).
12. Order of trophy allocation will be determined by the GGC Match Committee and novelty prizes will beavailable on selected holes for every competition day.
13. The allocation time for completion of a round on the Kalgoorlie Golf Course has been determined at 4hours and 40 minutes. The GGC Match Committee through its course marshalls will be very vigilant inregard to slow play and penalties may apply to anyone significantly in breach of this time frame.
14. All entrants can expect an AM and PM round over the Classic weekend.
15. All eligible Paxton & Ivie Temperley players are to abide by the relevant conditions as provided byGolfWA.
16. All eligible Paxton & Ivie Temperley players are reminded that they are not permitted to use motorisedcarts unless authorisation from GolfWA is provided in writing.
17. The GGC Match Committee has absolute control of all competition events that comprise the 2014 GoldfieldsClassic.
