We had a beautiful fall day earlier this week and white snow on the ground today. It is a per- fect backdrop however for the exciting announcement of the 2012 Jeremy Winter Opening! Marc Wilkins, Jake Hanley and Staff have been working hard behind the scenes to put together a great winter at The Jeremy. Golf is front and center 12 months a year with the state-of-the art TruGolf Simulator; league play, “9 and dine”, lessons by Jake, and many more golf events. Larry “the social guy” has some great events planned, like wine tasting, snowshoeing and live entertainment in the Pier Bar. Chef Chris is planning some fabulous casual winter menus with family/couples take-out specials as well. Watch out for future announcements and check our website for updates. Since closing the club for winter 2009, we have communicated to the membership our goal is to reopen when it is feasible to do so. Marc Wilkins and Staff have put together a winter budget that allows us to “walk before we run” with a Thursday through Sunday schedule packed with events. In addition to restoring The Jeremy back to a 12 month club for our members, it is also a vital step for membership growth as well. We cannot successfully continue to market a 6 month club. Membership growth continues to be the most important key to the future success of our club in 2012. That being said, we will be rolling out a multi-tiered membership program January 1, 2012 as well as an aggressive marketing campaign. More details to fol- low. I am pleased to announce that the F & B minimum for the winter 4 month “quad” will be half the cost to members as it was when we were last open for winter. $ 200 vs $ 400. 2008 F & B minimum that included winter opening: Quad Program: 3 “quads” at $ 400/ea = $ 1,200 Or Annual Program: 12 months = $ 1,400 2012 F & B minimum with winter opening: Quad Program: 2 “quads” at $ 400/ea + 1 winter quad at $ 200 = $ 1,000 Or Annual Program: 12 months = $ 1,200 If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call the business office. A big congratulations to Jeremy’s own Justin Shluker on winning the individual medalist honors as a member of the Park City High 2011 3A State Champion- ship Team. We had a wildly successful Halloween event for the kids and parents on Satur- day, over 80+. Pictures will be forthcoming. Don’t miss out on our “Friday Night Entertainment Series” in the Pier Bar with our own Dan Hall in Mister Sister on Nov 18 th . From the Golf Shop ~ Jake Hanley, Certified PGA Head Golf Professional The golf season is drawing to a close here at The Jeremy and winter is around the corner. We are extremely excited to announce the addition of a simulator in the golf shop this winter. We will have weekly contests, net and gross shop games, demo days and golf lessons for players of all ages and abilities. Please call the golf shop for more information. I would like to thank all of the members who volunteered this year during our Annual Employee Appreciation Tournament. We had a great time and the weather cooperated for most of the day. Thank you! It is that time of year again where we will be selling all of our demo clubs and rental clubs at blowout prices. That also means if you have any demo clubs that are currently in your bag please return them as soon as possible. We also have some complete rental sets at prices that cannot be beat. Please stop in the golf shop or give us a call. The golf course and range will be closing Sunday, November 13th. The Golf Shop will remain open Thursday thru Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm throughout the winter. We have some great merchandise in the shop and we are happy to special order any items that we might not have. We will be offering free gift wrapping beginning November 18th and Kristine is happy to help you with any of your shopping needs. We appreciate the great participation in this year’s club events and look forward to an exciting 2012. I can’t thank the golf staff and Tom Rhoades and his staff enough for their hard work and dedication to the club. The Jeremy Golf and CC Winter Golf Activities
We are very excited to announce the addition of a new TruGolf simulator, that will be available to use in the Golf Shop on Thursday, January 12th. There may be a chance we will receive the simulator in December. We will keep you posted. We will have weekly contests, net and gross formats for juniors, women and men, demo days and lessons available throughout the winter! The weather will always be perfect and we can have your favorite football game on for an overall great experience. For more information on the simulator feel free to go to www.trugolf.com and select Technique Pro. The member usage fee will be $10 per player for a round of golf and range time and $20 for an accompanied guest to play a round of golf or use the range. Please call the golf shop with any questions. We are already making plans for next years activities.
