Embark on a Cave Quest Adventure! …… Providing a

Guiding Light with God's Word!

Gear up for an over-the-top underground adventure!

Ground kids in the rock-solid foundation of God’s love, a

love that takes us through life’s dark times.

We will have a planning meeting Sunday, July 10 after worship. We are looking for

volunteers for crafts, shepherds, snacks, set up and clean up. Let Pastor know if you can help and come join us at the meeting. Fun

times!

NOTE FROM PASTOR

NEW MEMBERS RECEIVED SUNDAY, JUNE 19th

We are excited to welcome Lindsay Nyhoff, Alex Vey and Harry and Lyn Tate into Christ congregation! If you

would also like to become a part of this congregation, please contact Pastor Gordy!

Babies, babies, babies! Our congregation has had a joyful

infusion of new little faces! In the past few months, we have

had 5 babies born within our congregation! And we have one

more close to making his or her debut! Some of these little

ones have toddler brothers and sisters at home as well. Lots

of little ones at Christ! That makes for a lively nursery and

also a need for helpers as it is important to have engaging

activities for older toddlers and pre K children as well as a

safe place for infants.

Noella Ndunga, baby Dave and big brother, Brian will be a

big part in our efforts to provide for a safe, fun, faith learning

environment on Sunday mornings in the nursery. Noella will

be assuming the position of Nursery Teacher as Tailor leaves

us for internship in California. Noella is multi-lingual and has

a teaching background. She brings many gifts along with her

loving spirit!

We are forming a ministry team to help plan and guide the

work of our nursery and younger youth ministry. If you have

gifts in these areas please consider serving…our call is to go

and make disciples….raise them up… and this is a great way

to begin!

Thanks to all of you who have contributed to our Capital Campaign to provide

for a firm foundation for further ministry at Christ here on Haywood Lane!

At our Special Called Congregational Meeting we approved a revised ministry

spending plan and authorized the council to proceed with transitioning our line

of credit into a mortgage.

The capital campaign gifts provide much needed funds for the expenses of the

building! THANK YOU!
