WelcomeThe Grand Hotel, Scarborough provides the perfect
place to hold your Wedding Ceremony & Reception
with uninterrupted sea views. Located in the Town
Centre we overlook the South Bay and Harbour. It has
been said that architect, Cuthbert Brodrick designed
the hotel around the theme of time, envisaging four
towers for the seasons, twelve floors for the months,
52 chimneys for the weeks and 365 rooms for the days.
Today one can still see the original design, which has
hardly been changed.
From the moment you enquire, one of our dedicated
Event Coordinators will be available to advise and help
you with your special day. From the optimum room
layout, packages and entertainment, to providing
preferential accommodation rates.
Arriving at the hotel, our loading bay provides an easy
drop off point for all forms of arrival, from traditional
wedding cars to double decker buses. A red carpet will
be waiting for your entrance into the hotel.

Your Wedding Ceremony can be held as follows:
Palm Court Ballroom
The elegant Palm Court Ballroom is our Main
Function Room for Wedding Parties. Situated on
the first floor in the hotel the Palm Court Ballroom
has fantastic views overlooking the Spa. With
Seating for up to 150 guests and a 9m x 9m
dance floor the Palm Court Ballroom is ideal for
Ceremonies, Wedding Breakfasts and Evening
Wedding Receptions.
Ceremony Room Hire : £200
Victoria Room
With its stunning intimate features, this room is
perfect for a smaller, more initmate gathering.
The Victoria Room can hold up to 30 guests.
Ceremony Room Hire : £150
We have created two inclusive wedding
packages which we hope, caters for
all your needs. You may also enjoy the
freedom of designing a bespoke package
from our assortment of menu choices that
are fully customisable.

Whichever wedding package you choose, we are
on hand to help you during the weeks of planning
and to see that everything is as you expect it on your
big day. The Grand Hotel offers stunning views over
Scarborough’s South Bay and is the ideal place to
hold your Wedding Celebrations.
Drinks packages can be arranged for your Wedding
Day. Our Sun Terrace is an ideal place to have your
Welcome Drinks on a sunny day. With panoramic
views over the South Bay and Harbour this is also a
lovely place for your photographs. Our cocktail bar
situated on the ground floor can also be used to
welcome your guests.
Of course we will work with you should you have
any further requirements to make your day that little
bit extra special.

Our Buffet Prices are based on the evening
reception being held after a Wedding Breakfast. If
you require the evening buffet only please check
with the Wedding Co-ordinator for the prices.
