Conclusion • Overall the grudge was a good film to analyse. It has a lot of different conventions to show that it is a horror film. It had eerie music at the start and eerie sounds towards the end such as creaking. This all lead to it revealing what the film is about with giving minimal information the audiences it attracts. This helped me with my opening sequence because I have also chosen a horror genre so it has gave me plenty of ideas to share with my group. The one down side the film had was they spoke in Japanese but subtitles can easily be added.
